Meet Your NACCU Volunteers: Kim Graham-Pfeffer

December 4, 2017

This is the latest installment of a new NACCU series highlighting our association volunteers. NACCU provides programs and services to our members, many which would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteer leaders. Volunteers, whether they are a committee member, a Board member, or an onsite volunteer at a conference, are all important in making NACCU volunteer-driven programs an exceptional experience for our card industry peers.

Campus Card Information:

Name: Kim Graham-Pfeffer

School: Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA

Professional Role: Director, Financial Services - I oversee Card Services and our institution's relationship with our bookstore partner.

Volunteer Role: Member, Professional Development Committee

Where was the first NACCU conference you attended?

My first NACCU Conference was in Seattle, Washington - 2012.

What is your favo(u)rite thing about volunteering with your NACCU committee?

My favorite thing about working on the Professional Development Committee is crafting programs and resources to benefit current association members and the next generation of card services professionals.

What show are you binge-watching right now?

Grace and Frankie on Netflix.

What is your go-to coffee / tea order?

It varies with the season and how much sleep my daughter allowed me the night before, but currently my go-to is a venti Pike Place Roast with four pumps of vanilla syrup, 2% milk and a few dashes of cinnamon.

What is your favo(u)rite memory from your own student days?

Lunch breaks that turned into long afternoons, in the student union, with my sorority sisters.

What is one thing that would surprise people about you?

People are shocked to find out that I graduated from Army ROTC Basic Camp held at Fort Knox, Kentucky... four weeks of drill sergeants, PT, CS chamber... the whole nine yards.

What is your favo(u)rite holiday tradition?

Growing up, my mom always made cinnamon rolls and Orange Julius on Christmas morning - now that we have a little one and are so busy, we make those treats on the morning of Christmas Eve - such a yummy tradition.

We hope you have enjoyed learning about Kim! Please look for a new edition of "Meet Your NACCU Volunteers" in two weeks.
